There are ten brown, wooden prisms all the same length but varying height and width from 1 centimeter to 10 centimeters (or one decimeter squared). This is designed to teach the concepts of "thick" and "thin". Each stair is 20 cm in length and varies in thickness from 1 to 10 cm. When put together from thickest to thinnest, they make an even staircase. As an extension, the broad stairs are often used with the Pink Tower.
